Missing Student/Person Protocol

Safety remains a top priority for academic institutions. There are occasions when academic institutions, campus safety and police departments receive reports of missing students or missing persons. This workshop will lead you through the immediate steps staff should take in various departments. These will be critical to initial determination if the individual has been the victim of a crime and/or is in danger, as well as efficiently and efficaciously aiding in the timely locating of the individual. By having a clear process that is consistently followed, we can better the chances of locating the missing individual more quickly while communicating with family, caregivers, and the community around the process.
